Cindy and Kiona met one Halloween season and bonded over the love of their herding dogs and Bandolier phone cases. They talked about how much exercise these dogs required and Kiona lamented the fact that there weren't any super dog-friendly run clubs in the area that hung out at dog-friendly spots after the run. They quickly concocted a plan and RunDrinkLV was born!

Kiona had never been much of a runner - it was the punishment for the team sports (volleyball, softball) that she played growing up. When the opportunity arose to adopt puppy Zilla (Aussie mix) from a coworker 13 years ago, she convinced herself that she would get into running to keep up with the active lifestyle that Zilla required. Took awhile, but here we are!!
These days, you'll generally find Kiona out at run club with either her 2yo toddler, Ava, or Jack (4), Border Collie mix.

Running was never really Cindy’s strength, but she’s found that running with a group makes it so much more fun! She loves staying active, golfing, playing tennis, hiking, and pretty much doing anything with Luna. As a rescue dog mom and self-proclaimed puppy saver, she’s all about bringing people together through movement, connection, and a shared love for animals.

10k LeadAn avid hiker and trail runner turned road runner, I discovered a new passion for distance running two years ago. Since then, I’ve completed two marathons and two half marathons, continually challenging myself to go farther and become stronger with every mile. One of my most memorable experiences was participating in The Speed Project, an underground relay race spanning from Santa Monica, California, to Las Vegas, Nevada. Whether I’m exploring mountain trails or pushing my limits on the road, I’m driven by adventure, the running community, and the pursuit of new challenges.

10k/4mi LeadI'm a physical therapist, running coach, and endurance junkie who's always looking for the next challenge. I’ve checked off 21 marathons, five ultras, and a full Ironman, but what keeps me running is the opportunity to keep improving and the people you meet along the way. Outside of running and work, I'm happiest traveling, scuba diving, or finding my next adventure. When I'm not doing that, I'm probably watching football or soccer, riding my motorcycle, supporting friends at their DJ sets and performances, or wishing I had more time for music festivals. Always up for good miles, good people, and a post-run beverage! ...maybe even a mid-run doughnut, Taco Bell, or cookie if the occasion arises

Walking LeadAllie is a fan of finding fun ways to move and get her heart pumping. She found her stride walking through enjoying podcasts and audiobooks while wandering the neighborhood, but found talking with friends while on a stroll was just as fun! She also loves going to spin classes, reading, film photography, and sewing her own clothes.

Walking LeadKatt started walking as a way to start getting healthier in her every day life. She met Allie R., who introduced her to RunDrinkLV and she was hooked by the vibes and community. Katt loves chatting about her 5 cats, reading fantasy/romance books, playing World of Warcraft (who she met her husband on!), and going to barre classes.
